Psykinematix 1.2 Available!

We are pleased to announce the availability of Psykinematix Version 1.2. This new release contains many bug fixes, improvements, new features, an updated documentation, and is fully compatible with Mac OS X 10.4, 10.5 and 10.6 ("Snow Leopard") running on either older PowerPC-based or newer Intel-based Macintosh computers. There are 5 new features worth noting in this release:

  • Support for 3rd-party USB input devices (ioLab Button Box, Cedrus RB-x30 Response Pads, Lumina Response Pads for fMRI through LSC-400 controller, HID Gamepad and Joystick).
  • Support for button box internal timer for high accuracy response time measurements (eg, ioLab & Cedrus button box) with estimation of clock drift and clock-based Trial Alarm.
  • Design and preview of Custom Stimuli in Fourier domain.
  • Position, font and size parameters for built-in fixation marks, with support for change detection of randomly selected fixation mark (eg, for attention control).
  • Support for multiple lines expression for all stimuli parameters and improved math editor.
